This journal operates under a full open-access model supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs). This fee ensures that all accepted manuscripts are published, archived, and made freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription barriers.

  1. APC Amount
  • The APC for accepted articles is 200 USD (or its equivalent in local currency at the time of payment)
  • There are no submission fees and no charges during review.
  1. When Payment Is Required
  • The APC is charged only after the manuscript has been formally accepted following peer review.
  • No payment is requested during initial submission or during revisions.
  • Acceptance is not influenced by ability to pay; editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit.
  1. Modes of Payment

Payment details are sent directly to the corresponding author upon acceptance. Authors may settle the APC through:

  • International bank transfer
  • Online payment systems (when available)
  • Local remittance options (for authors within partner regions)
  • Official receipts and confirmation documents are issued once payment is completed.
  1. APC Waivers and Reductions

IJECE may grant partial waivers in justified cases, such as:

  • Authors from low-income or resource-limited institutions
  • Graduate students without funding support
  • Special issues supported by partner organizations
  • Requests for waivers must be submitted at the time of acceptance and will not affect editorial decisions.
  1. Transparency and Ethical Standards
  • The APC supports editorial operations, platform maintenance, indexing activities, and long-term digital preservation.
  • IJECE adheres to COPE and DOAJ standards, ensuring that APCs never influence acceptance decisions.
  • All APC-related communication is handled confidentially between the editorial office and the corresponding author.
